I started playing disc golf in Colorado Springs in August 2020 when the pandemic made it difficult to play basketball and ball golf. I started out as a dominant forehand player but worked hard on my backhand form this past year. The strongest part of my game is definitely putting. I am always learning, practicing, and focusing on improving. Now I am looking to share what I have learned. Book a lesson today!
I just took my first lesson through Olympic Disc Sports. I met with Brandyn at a local course and we walked over to a field to work on distance drives. Brandyn watched me throw a few times, recorded me, analyzed the video, and pinpointed a few areas to work on.
We then practiced drives standing still for about 20 minutes, and eventually moved on to throwing with a slow walk up. He provided feedback after each throw, and over the course of an hour I managed to get my drives from 175-200 feet all the way up to 250.
It was a great experience and I plan on taking a lesson about once a month from now on. Highly recommended, at least for a beginner/intermediate player like myself.
